Tripope Hengpoonthana
My name is Tripope Hengpoonthana. I am the President of the E-san Thai Association of Australia. My organisation has held Thai concerts on many occasions to raise money for people who suffer from HIV/AIDS in Thailand; blind children in Vientiane, Laos; buying pushbikes for young children in rural areas of Thailand; and donations to Thai and Laos temples within Australia. I am a civil engineer but I have been fascinated with presenting radio programs since I was a young boy. I am very glad to be able to join the WOW FM 100.7 crew and I look forward to broadcasting my show each week. My aim is to try to reach Thai people in every corner of Sydney and also create bonds between the Thai community of Sydney. I love hearing from Thai listeners and even listeners of other nationalities, who have spent some time in Thailand or who are married to a Thai person and understand Thai.
