Paul Russell
Being a baby boomer I love the music I grew up listening to, the fabulous music of the fifties and sixties. There are many other types of music I enjoy too but for me the oldies from the fifties and sixties still sound as good to me as they did when they were released on good old vinyl records.
I started in radio in 1988, answering the phones on the Mark Gould Party Show when he was at another community radio station. I started at WOW-FM in January 2000 and have been here off and on since then. I enjoy presenting my programme immensely and it gives me the chance to share my music and the music I love with you, the listening audience. Please feel free to ring me on Fridays between 3pm and 6pm on 98331444 to say g’day or tell me what you think of the music I’m playing or to make a request for the following weeks programme.
