Mona Wahba


I was born in Egypt and came to Australia in 1989. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a radio presenter or an actor. I worked as a sewing teacher in Egypt. When I came to Australia I worked with Nepean Migrant Access as a worker for the Arabic community. I followed my hobby and became a radio presenter nine years ago. Also I am the president of the Arabic Society Art and Literature organization. I am the convenor of the multicultural programmes on WOW-FM and I am also a board member of the station. Together with Mary Gayed, I present the Arabic Show every Sunday between 4pm and 7pm and I enjoy presenting this programme. I am happy to help as much as I can with presenting this programme. We play horoscope jokes, we have a topic of the week and competitions and a dish of the week followed by news from all around the world.
